Like our archery deer hunt, our rifle hunt allows you to harvest either a muley or whitetail buck. We have several places where you can see both species from the same blind or stand set-up. It is quite possible to see 300+ deer a day while going after your rifle deer.
Whitetail Rifle Hunt
Our area produces bucks in the 135 - 170 Boone & Crocket class on a regular basis. Our mornings can either be a stand hunt or hunt from a truck. The deer generally leave the feeding areas after the morning so we dont generally have you hunt all day.
We then take you out in the early afternoon and either put you in a blind or tree stand overlooking feeding areas. We are sure we can put you in an area that will produce the buck you are looking for.
Mule Deer Rifle Hunt
Mule Deer hunts can be done several different ways. You can make this hunt as hard or as easy as you wish. We can set you in a blind looking over a feeding area full of does or do a spot and stalk by either walking or by vehicle.
We have several different ranches that we can hunt for muleys. The muleys we see and take range from 19 to 30 inch inside spreads and occasionally bigger. As a responsible hunting guide we prefer to take bucks that have reached full maturity. This helps to ensure that our hunters will continually be able to take bucks with true trophy racks year after year.
